Organizational History

In the summer of 2003, a group of Baltimore City educators, lead by Kate and Michael Primm, came together to found Experiential Environmental Education Inc., a non-profit with the mission of growing an educational community dedicated to improving student achievement and increasing stewardship for the environment through experiential environmental education. The foundation of E3 was built on three core components - a public charter school, teacher professional development, and service & volunteerism. Today The Green School of Baltimore, serves as the core function of E3, while teacher professional development and service & volunteerism support and enhance the teaching and learning at the school.
